Post Apocalypse

Am I a bad person that I DIDN’T cry over Michael Jackson’s death? He wasn’t a personal friend of mine; we weren’t even close to six degrees of separation there.

I believe he was one of the world’s greatest performers and, while a little crazy at the end, a brilliant and talented man. With that said. why is everyone so sad? MJ hadn’t come out with a new song in years. He had all but fallen off the face of the earth after the scandal regarding his and other’s children. He had JUST announced that he would be doing a world tour again, but very little prep work had been done for that.

I am insensitive for not weeping on national television like so many people holding ‘vigils’? I don’t think so. I think I am being realistic. Does anyone agree with me?
